Khawaja Aamir: Chief Consultant

Khawaja Aamir is an M.B.A. from the IBA Karachi, and a graduate in Pharmacy from the Karachi University. He was Managing Director of Boehringer Mannheim Pakistan, Country Manager Roche Diagnostics Pakistan. He has twenty five plus years of experience in General Management, Marketing, Sales & HR, with the leading blue chip multinationals Glaxo, SK&F, Smith Kline and Beecham, Boehringer Mannheim, and Roche.

In 2001, Aamir started a management consultancy, 'Kam Konsulting'. Today the company is over ten years old and offers a wide range of value adding services for organizations aspiring to move up the curve from 'good' to 'great'.

Pervaiz Awan: Senior Consultant

Pervaiz Awan was the Managing Director of GSK Stiefel Pakistan- a subsidiary of GSK one of the leading multinational pharma giant. Pervaiz is a thorough professional, has a master's degree in Business Administration and over thirty years experience of General Management, Sales, Marketing and Training in Pharma, Consumer Healthcare and Vaccines industry in Pakistan.

Pervaiz started his professional journey as a Medical Sales Professional with GSK Pakistan in 1975. He has held progressively more responsible positions in GSK as Business Unit Head, Sales Director, Training & Sales Director and finally Managing Director GSK Stiefel Pakistan, the position which he has held from 2010 to 2013.

Pervaiz has a successful track record of managing and developing diverse and complex businesses through innovative and creative approaches. A reliable change management expert, has an innate ability to handle and deftly manage crisis situations.

His core expertise lies in the following areas:

Arshad Qureshi: Senior Consultant

With an MBA in Marketing Arshad Qureshi was Country Business Unit Head for Diabetes Care in F. Hoffmann La. Roche Diagnostics. He has 26 years of experience in Sales, Marketing & General Management. He was trained internationally on various aspects of management and has handled complex business situations during his career with multinationals.

Arshad has conducted lot of internal trainings for the field & marketing staff and a good public speaker. He also has mastery in retail management and channel development. After having extensive insight on a multitude of all fronts in business, he joined KAM Konsulting as senior consultant and along with assisting Mr. Khawaja Aamir Majeed in workshops; he majorly looks after the business development side for KAM Konsulting.

 

Aejaz Khan: Senior Consultant

As a graduate from Karachi University in Chemical Engineering & a Master Degree in Business Administration from United States Indiana, Aejaz started his career in the retail business in USA. After spending 28 years in this field, he rose into the senior ranks with three major giants like Best Products, Target & Wards as General Manager. With several locations & units reporting to him he was accountable for total profit & loss statements including:

With this wealth of knowledge, Aejaz returned to Pakistan in late 2001 for family commitments.

In Pakistan he was employed with ABN-AMRO Bank as Country Manager Collections and later switched to a bigger portfolio at House Building Finance Corporation as an Officer Grade 21 and Head of collections Pakistan. Working for these two outfits Aejaz conducted courses and workshops on People Management Monitoring Collections, Communication, Presentation skills, Team Work, Time Management, etc.

n June 2003 Aejaz was offered the position of Senior Vice President Learning and Development with Union Bank. He excelled by Designating a New Performance Management system & Goal setting program.

In the training field through the end of 2004, Union Bank associates had been trained on 38 new courses with 69 rollouts including soft and Core Banking Skills with 3/4 of the Bank trained. New programs introduced at Union included:

  • "Meeting the CEO" for lunch (Motivational Program) for top performing 20% associates.
  • Introduction of part time lady workers in Branch Banking at busy hours that raised the customer services levels by 15%.
  • Development of E-Learning for Cashiers and Personnel Bankers.
  • One other outstanding achievement was the preparation of Performance Improvement Program through which the under-performing bottom 10% associates were brought up the curve with outstanding results of turnaround performance.
